Armed Bank Robbery
Spanaway Bank at Knifepoint
Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a bank robbery at knifepoint.
At 5:45 p.m. on Friday January 22nd, 2016, the pictured suspect robbed the Harborstone Credit Union located in the 100 block of 167th St. S. in Spanaway. The suspect entered the bank wearing a mask, approached the counter and displayed a large knife. The suspect yelled at the tellers to give him cash, then took the money and ran out of the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, with a medium build. During the robbery he was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, a black ski mask, and a dark baseball hat. He was armed with a large knife with a curved blade.
Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
