Peninsula High School Fire
Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for an arson at a high school. At 9:20 p.m. on Sunday September 26th, 2016, the pictured suspect lit a memorial bench on fire outside of Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor.
The suspect walked along the front of the school building carrying a white garbage bag in one hand and a small object in the other hand; moments later surveillance video captured images of a large flash followed by the suspect running down the front steps of the school campus. The fire destroyed a memorial bench and charred the high school building from the ground up to the second story roof.
The unidentified suspect appears to be a young white male wearing dark pants and a light colored hoodie.
Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
