Spanaway Bank Robbery

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a bank robbery.

At 4:45 p.m. on Monday October 24th, 2016, the pictured suspect robbed an Umpqua Bank located in the 16100 block of Pacific Ave. S. in Spanaway.

The suspect entered the bank carrying a yellow envelope, approached the counter and pulled a piece of paper out of the envelope.  On the paper a note was written demanding cash.  The suspect took the money in the envelope and fled the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, approximately 5’6” tall, 150 lbs., with a dark brown shaggy wig and a fake mustache.  During the robbery he was seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black jacket, blue jeans, and black rimmed eyeglasses.

This suspect may be responsible for up to five similar robberies targeting credit unions in Pierce County.
