Stolen Boat in Gig Harbor
Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for a theft and an arson that destroyed a boat.
At 1:20 a.m. on Monday May 8th, 2017, a large twin hull fiberglass boat and trailer were found fully engulfed in flames in the 8500 block of 104th St. NW in Gig Harbor. The motors had been removed by the unidentified suspect(s) before the boat and trailer were dumped along the roadway and set on fire.
The owners of the boat were out of the area at the time of the fire, and believe their boat was stolen from All Purpose Storage on Point Fosdick Dr. NW in Gig Harbor.
Detectives are looking for information on any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the area of the storage unit or the location where the boat was set on fire.
Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
