Puyallup Police detectives need your help to identify a truck and trailer involved in a hit and run that seriously injured a bicyclist.

At 5:22 p.m. on Tuesday June 6th, 2017, a bicyclist was struck and seriously injured by an unidentified truck and trailer in the 1800 block of River Rd. in The City of Puyallup.  The bicyclist was traveling eastbound when the pictured truck and trailer passed alongside him; the back corner of the trailer clipped the victim’s bicycle, knocking him head first into the roadway.

The truck and trailer continued heading eastbound on River Rd., and was last seen turning southbound onto 18th St. NW.  The suspect’s truck appears to be a tan or light brown truck, with an extended cab and 4 doors.  The truck was towing a large long open flatbed trailer. The victim suffered serious head trauma and broken bones.
