Wanted for Attempted Murder

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to locate shooting suspect Tony French. A felony warrant has been issued for French’s arrest for Attempted Murder in the 1st degree, Assault in the 2nd degree, Domestic Violence Residential Burglary, DV Assault in the 3rd degree, and DV Violation of a No Contact Order.
On the morning of Friday September 7, 2018, suspect Tony French shot his ex-girlfriend multiple times in the driveway of her Frederickson area home. The shots were fired by French from inside a stolen black 2014 Toyota Camry; the vehicle had switched license plates on it, and may contain either Washington plates BGH0472 or Oregon plates 955HEE. The vehicle’s passenger window was shattered and there is duct tape on the driver’s side door. French fled the scene in the vehicle and his whereabouts are unknown.
Tony French is a 39 year old black male, 5’11”, 210 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has ties to Tacoma, Federal Way, Vancouver, and Salem OR. French should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
