Lakewood Police detectives need your help to locate homicide suspect Marcus Williams. A nationwide felony warrant has been issued for Williams’ arrest for Murder in the 1st degree.
Detectives believe that on the night of Monday October 14, 2019, suspect Marcus Williams murdered the owner of a convenience store during a robbery at the McChord Mart on Solberg Dr. SW in the City of Lakewood. Williams entered the business, attempted to steal cash from the register, then stabbed the victim before fleeing the store. The female victim died from her injuries.
Marcus Louise Williams is a 24 year old black male, 5’9” tall, 170 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a star on his chest and the numbers “253” on his left wrist, and is known to use the street name “Savage”. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
