South Hill Store Robbery

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for an armed robbery.  At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 26, 2019, the pictured suspect robbed a Fred Meyer store located in the 17400 block of Meridian E. in South Hill. 

The suspect entered the store with a scarf over his lower face, then approached the customer service counter and displayed a handgun.  The suspect took the cash and ran from the store heading west on 176th St. 

The suspect is described as an asian or pacific islander male in his 20’s with a slender build and a thin beard and mustache.  During the robbery he was seen wearing a two-tone gray hooded jacket, black sweatpants, and a black baseball hat.
