South Hill Bank Robbery

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a bank robbery. 

At 4:48 p.m. on Tuesday February 11, 2020, an unidentified suspect robbed the Chase Bank branch located inside the Fred Meyer store in the 17400 block of Meridian Ave. E. in South Hill.  The suspect entered the store carrying a black backpack and a soft shell briefcase; he approached the bank counter and showed the teller a note stating that he was armed with a bomb and demanding cash. 

The suspect is described as a pacific islander or hispanic male in his 30’s, approximately 5’5” tall, with a mustache.  During the robbery he was seen wearing a black jacket, dark sunglasses, a black knit cap, and possibly had multiple layers of clothing on.





Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
