Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a sexual assault and robbery.
On March 22, 2023, at 5:45 a.m., the pictured suspect approached the victim near her car at the corner of S. 9th St. and S. L St and sexually assaulted her. He then struck her in the head with a handgun and stole her cell phone. The victim screamed for help at a passing vehicle, which distracted the suspect and allowed her to escape.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, 6’1”-6’2” tall, with a thick build, and dreadlocks, possibly with orange in them. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and Nike slides.
