Wanted for Murder

Liban Abudulkadir Sheikh

The FBI needs your help in locating homicide suspect Liban Abudulkadir Sheikh. A felony warrant has been issued for Sheikh’s arrest for Murder in the 1st degree, Assault in the 1st degree, and Burglary in the 1st degree.

Detectives believe that just after 3:00 a.m. in the morning on November 27th, 2002, suspect Liban Sheikh armed himself with a gun and forced his way into a residence at the Meadowpark Apartments on 146th St. SW in Lakewood.

Once inside the apartment, Sheikh shot two victims multiple times, killing victim Ricky Sinclair. Detectives believe the suspect shot the victim in retaliation for a fight the previous day.

Liban Sheikh is a Somalian male, 32 years old, 5’11”, 180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. Detectives believe he may have fled to Africa or Europe.

The FBI is looking for any information regarding Sheikh’s whereabouts.
