Attempted Burglary

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department needs your help to identify the suspect responsible for an attempted residential burglary.
At 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday February 21st, 2012, the pictured suspect attempted to break into a house on Barkubein Rd. E. in Buckley. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect parking a vehicle in the driveway, then knocking on doors and looking into windows of the house. The suspect then grabs a patio table and attempts to throw it through a glass door. The suspect cracks the glass door, then flees the residence.
The suspect appears to be a white female in her late 20’s or early 30’s, average height, with a heavy build and long brown hair worn in a ponytail. During the attempted burglary she was wearing tan slippers, blue jeans, and a gray hooded sweatshirt with “Seaside” on the chest. She was seen driving a late 1980’s or early 1990’s blue Ford Thunderbird with a sunroof.
