* UPDATE - THE STOLEN 1970 CHEVELLE SS WAS RECOVERED BY THE TACOMA POLICE DEPARTMENT ON FRIDAY AUGUST 10TH. THE STOLEN 1965 CORVETTE STINGRAY WAS RECOVERED BY THE PIERCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT ON FRIDAY AUGUST 17TH. NO SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN ARRSTED *


The Pierce County Auto Crimes Enforcement Task Force needs your help to identify the suspects responsible for a burglary and the theft of two rare cars.

Sometime between 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 8th and 9:00 a.m. on Thursday August 9th, 2012, unidentified suspects broke into a warehouse located near 162nd St. and Meridian E. in the Puyallup area.  The suspects then stole two rare cars stored inside the warehouse, valued at over $150,000 each.

The stolen cars are a blue 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2-door hardtop coupe and a dark gray 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 2-door hardtop with black racing stripes.

The Auto Crimes Enforcement Task Force is looking for any information regarding the location of the stolen vehicles and the identity of the suspects responsible for the theft.





Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
