Christmas Beer Thief

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for an armed robbery of a convenience store.

At 10:30 a.m. on Christmas Day 2012, the pictured suspect robbed the Shell gas station located in the 5400 block of Tacoma Mall Blvd. in Tacoma.  The suspect entered the business and grabbed a 6-pack of beer from the cooler, then walked up to the sales counter and displayed a handgun before fleeing the business with the beer.

The suspect is described as an asian male in his 20’s, approximately 5’6” tall with a slender build and short dark hair.  He was seen wearing gray pants, a black jacket, a black baseball hat, and large diamond stud earrings.  He fled the business in a gray or silver 4-door sedan with Idaho license plates.
