Fircrest Attempted Luring

The Fircrest Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect responsible for an attempted luring of a middle school student.

At approximately 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday May 28th, 2014, the depicted suspect attempted to lure a girl as she walked to her bus stop on Alameda Ave. near Whittier Elementary School in the City of Fircrest.

The unidentified suspect drove past the victim in a gold four door sedan and honked the vehicle’s horn, then drove by her again and offered her candy and money to get into his car.  The child fled to a neighbor’s house for help and the suspect left the area.

The suspect is described as a heavy set asian or black male in his mid 30’s.  He was seen wearing a black baseball hat and a white jacket with a red stripe and a black stripe on the shoulders.

Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
