Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspects responsible for the murder of 22 year old Wilberth Acala and 19 year old Adrian Valencia-Cuevas.
At 5:30 a.m. on Monday May 14, 2018, victims Wilberth Acala and Adrian Valencia-Cuevas were found deceased inside a white Dodge Charger that was parked in the roadway in the 6200 block of 63rd St. W. in the City of University Place. Both victims had been shot in the head by unidentified suspects who were believed to be seated in the back of the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Surveillance video captured images of two unidentified male suspects running from the area where the homicide occurred approximately 30 minutes before the victims were discovered.
Detectives are looking for information on any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in the area of Alameda Ave. and 56th St./Cirque Dr W. in the hours of 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Monday May 14.
