Victim Steven Haggard

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for the murder of 48 year old Steven Haggard of Tacoma. 

At 11:43 a.m. on Saturday February 29, 2020, victim Steven Haggard was shot by an unidentified suspect in the parking lot of a Jack in the Box restaurant located in the 5200 block of Tacoma Mall Blvd.  The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s truck, which was later abandoned by the suspect near the 5100 block of S. Asotin Street in the City of Tacoma. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build.  He had black hair worn in braids or dreadlocks that were pulled up in a ponytail, and his hair was shaved around the sides and back.  He was last seen wearing a black puffy coat, a black hooded sweatshirt, a white knit cap, light colored sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.  He may also have a black eye and injuries to his teeth or mouth from a previous altercation.

Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
