Parkland Convenience Store Robberies

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a shooting and an armed robbery at two convenience stores.
At 7:15 p.m. on Monday October 19, 2020, the pictured suspect attempt to rob the SS Quickstop Grocery located on 112th St. S. in Parkland. The unidentified suspect entered the convenience store and pointed a revolver at the clerk, and then yelled at the victim. As the clerk ran to a back room, the suspect fired two shots toward him and then ran out of the business.
Twenty minutes later, a suspect matching the same description robbed a Union 76 gas station located on Golden Given Road E. The suspect asked the clerk for change, then displayed a firearm and demanded cash. The unidentified suspect took the money and fled on foot.
The suspect was described as a light skinned black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall, and 170 lbs. He was seen wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and a black mask.
