University Place Theft

The University Place Police Department needs your help to identify the suspect responsible for a theft.  At approximately 2:50 p.m. on Sunday January 25th, 2015, the pictured suspect stole an elderly man’s wallet at a Walgreen’s store located at the intersection of Cirque Dr. W. and Bridgeport Way W. in the City of University Place.

The victim had purchased items from the store and inadvertently left his wallet on the store counter; the suspect was seen picking up the victim’s wallet, then placed it in his pocket and walked out of the store.

The victim’s wallet contained a credit card, identification, and a childhood photograph of the victim’s wife that the victim carried throughout his service in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.  A reward is being offered for the safe return of the photograph and/or the identification of the suspect.





Receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible in this case.
